World's Largest Hot Wheels Track Can Hold 1200 Cars


Not your average Hot Wheels track, this one -- called Metropolis II -- by Chris Burden is fully-automated and "features 1,200 cars and 13 toy trains zipping around quickly, over and over again." Continue reading to see it in action.
It's a follow up to Burden's Metropolis I, which was built on a similar concept but employed only 80 cars. Metropolis II is currently being constructed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

World's Oldest Computer Recreated with LEGO


Just when you thought you've seen all the LEGO creatons, Apple software engineer Andrew Carol uses 1,500 LEGO Technic parts to recreate the Antikythera. In technical terms, "each box is its own little piece of computing hardware, crunching one equation per box, and when you input some calender data into it, it should be able to tell you when the next solar eclipse will be." Audi R18 Le Mans Prototype Unveiled


It's official, the 2010 Audi R18 LMP1 has made its debut. This stunning vehicle uses "a single-piece construction carbon fiber monocoque to keep weight down and increase stiffness, and those epic all-LED headlights are the first make their way to Le Mans."Click here for more pictures.
